Your WUVT staff has been working hard as the move to the Price Mountain broadcasting site continues. Here's what we've completed: Moving the transmitters up to the mountain, acquiring (and welding a new frame for) our backup generator, improving fans/ventillation inside our Price Mtn. building, and much more. Greetings fellow Wooviteers. We are still scheduled to have our new "beast-of-a transmitter" up and running on Price Mountain by early June. However, Lee Hall, our current broadcast location, is about to undergo renovations. WUVT was originally scheduled to leave Lee in early June, but, due to unforeseen events, is now forced to leave the location by Sunday, May 17.
Because of these unfortunate occurrences, WUVT will be transmitting at reduced power starting Sunday, May 17 up until our Price Mountain location is ready to broadcast at a whooping 6.5 Kilowatts. Our broadcast range will be significantly reduced during this time. Unfortunately, this period may last for up to four weeks. You can still listen to the WUVT online stream with no effect from the power reduction here . Any questions should be directed to our phone line, 540-231-9880, or to

Again, we apologize for this unexpected event. WUVT will be pulling some late hours in order get our Price Mountain transmitter working early June. Hold in there friends. |
