Hello everyone,
Our grand total pledged for Spring Radiothon 2011 is $12,784.33!! A BIG thank you to everyone who made this Radiothon a success: WUVT staff, donors, DJs, the Blacksburg community and beyond. We did not quite reach our goal, but that's okay. It was a valiant effort and we appreciate every single penny that we have received. Thanks to you, we will have an operating budget for the next school year.
Remember that this is the PLEDGED total and it won't be anything material unless you pay your pledge! So please do not forget to do so if you pledged via cash or check.

Checks should be addressed to WUVT. You can also pay online at http://www.wuvt.vt.edu/donate
Once you have done so, you will be able to receive your premiums! If you already have paid, please visit our offices at 350 Squires Student Center to pick up your premiums.

Hello WUVT community on the internet,
As of 11:56PM, we have a total pledge donation of $7,362.30! Great job and thank you to everyone. Tomorrow, we will finally be having a remote outside of Moe's from 10-5PM with another one in the same spot later in the evening which will also be a bake sale.
Tomorrow is also WUVT's 63rd birthday! In celebration, we are having a show in conjunction with Third Eye Productions, featuring hip hop group Lyrics Born. The show will take place at Awful Arthur's in downtown Blacksburg at 9PM. The Facebook even can be found here.
Here are some great shows coming up that you can donate to in case you haven't done so already.
7-9AM The Birds and the Bees: The New River Sampler brings you signs of Spring and songs of pollination, germination, regeneration and inspiration.
3:30-5PM Our Band Could Be Your Wife: The JFK Memorial Cat brings this special edition: Sailors are married to the sea, Matthew Modine is married to the mob, and these bands are married to themselves. Tune in for the weddees you know as well as the ones you don't.
7-9PM We are living in a material world: Scenesters. Hipsters. Sneakers. Blogs. says "we all love cars, bling, and sweet cribs but not to the extent of the artists who write about it. Two hours of materialistic bliss.
