Hope you all had fun celebrating WUVT's 70th anniversary today!
Thank you so much for your donations and support this week, it was an amazing time.
As of now, 11:42pm we have raised $13,328.44 in donations! Remember, if you still haven't donated but yet plan to, try and get those in by midnight to guarantee that you receive your premiums, as we'll be placing orders very soon.
Now for a social media update: The Beatles won it all and so did twitter user @supr8zomboy, CONGRATS!

It's growing closer with each passing minute... It's hiding around corners and whispering into your ear at night... It's Radiothon! Our week-long semesterly fundraising event is almost here! This spring, our 70th anniversary celebration will take place from March 26th to April 1st. Our DJs have some amazing shows planned for our around-the-clock coverage and our staff is working overtime to bring you the best week of radio ever!
And we need your support! Our goal this semester is to raise $20,000 for our staion renovation project and our larger goal of $70,000. So if you love WUVT, show us! And when you donate, you'll get some amazing premiums to put in your home and on your body! We want to keep showing our love of radio to the New River Valley and the rest of the world.

Not the poster. Well, the poster up there is beautiful, yes, but what's even more beautiful than "WUVT" freshly shaved into a leg is Fall Radiothon. The Greatest Week In Radio is upon us once more! Starting next week, from October 30th through November 5th, we'll have a full week of 24/7 live, themed shows to bring you endless hours (okay, 168 hours, but who's counting?) of sonic satisfaction. Our DJs are prepping quite hard and the staff is working overtime to make sure it all goes off without a hitch.
This semester's Radiothon has a goal to raise $20,000, so be sure to donate to help us meet this goal! This Radiothon is part of a larger effort to raise a grand total of $70,000 to overhaul and rework our studio and station audio infrastructure so that we can keep bringing you the best music you can find in the New River Valley. Your dollars will get you both some super cool premiums and help contribute to our greater project for your best listening experience possible.
